INOVA ASSISTANS
what is it?
Inova Assistans is a personal assistance service that offers high-quality support to special needs population in Sweden. They focus on creating an inclusive environment that respects individuals' right to self-determination. I designed and developed their website, which includes:
- Helena: An AI chatbot with a custom knowledge base about Swedish support laws
- An admin dashboard for posting jobs, news, and reviewing applicants
- User-friendly interfaces for both clients and staff

I used next.js as the framework for this project. My love for react , and tailwindcss made it easy to code the site.
backend
Used Server Actions, with nodejs , and hosted on vercel . Also used edge functions for the AI chatbot to enable streaming responses.
Written in typescript . The database is built on supabase . The AI is powered by openai API.
Vector Database
Used openai assistant API to create the sophesticated AI chatbot that uses a vector database to store the knowledge base.

Result
The new website has been a significant upgrade for Inova Assistans. The clients are thrilled with the result, especially considering their previous WordPress site was outdated and lacked modern features. Now, they have a sleek, responsive platform with an AI assistant ready to answer questions about Swedish support laws at any time.
While the site is quite new, it's already making a positive impact. The AI chatbot, Helena, has been particularly well-received, providing instant, accurate information to users.
This project has deepened my understanding of AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). The development process was smooth and enjoyable, thanks in large part to the excellent libraries available for integrating AI from providers like OpenAI and Mixtral. These tools have made it possible to create sophisticated AI-powered features with relative ease.
